Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (hypertrophy)
A nonmalignant enlargement of the prostate gland commonly occurring in men after the age of 50, and sometimes leading to compression of the urethra and obstruction of the flow of urine.
Conception Vessel
The Conception Vessel is the front part of the main energy circulation channel in the body. It runs from under the lower lip, along the midline of the body to the middle of the lower abdomen in men, and to the uterus in women. Along with what's called the Governing Vessel, which runs up the back of the body and over the head, they make up the central energy circuit in the body. It's called the Microcosmic Orbit. Opening the microcosmic orbit is referred to as awakening the healing life force energy. When energy is circulating freely in the microcosmic orbit, the body is full of vitality, the mind is clear and the sex organs are naturally energized.
Energy Channels and Meridians
There is an energy channel network throughout the body, like a blood circulation system. The main channels, sometimes called meridians, have particular organs and sinews they go to, like nerves do in the nervous system. But they work in groups and pairs. It's the pattern of working together that determines balance, health and superior functioning or imbalance, illness and dysfunction. It's a continuously moving organic whole, rather than a fixed set of functions like the mechanics of an automobile.
Epididymis
The epididymis is a thin coiled cord which is part of the sperm duct that serves to store, mature and transport spermatozoa between the testis and the vas deferens. One is attached to the back of each testis and can be felt with the fingers.
Ejaculatory weakness
What it says, an ejaculation that has a weak rhythmic response and /or has little fluid released.
Heart Meridian
The Heart Meridian originates in the heart. Energy in this system helps blood circulation and enlivens the spirit. It's about fire, the emotion of joy, the sound of laughter, and the spirit within you. When the energy here is not as it should be, there is irritation, impatience, tension and closing down. When it is charged, it makes all the senses open and the brain invigorated so sensuality, passion and compassion can flow. Also tension in the muscles of the chest and inner arms, are released.
Hyperplasia
An abnormal increase in the number of cells in an organ or a tissue with consequent enlargement.
Kegel Exercises
Muscle tensing exercises to tone and strengthen the pubococcygeus muscle in the pelvis. Recommended to help with urinary control, childbirth, sex and orgasm. Voluntarily stopping the urine flow activates this muscle.
Kidney Meridian
The Kidney Meridian opens directly in the urethra and supplies the energy for sexual vitality and stamina. When you're stressed or run down, more than likely the kidney energy is weak or drained. The associated emotion is fear. The muscles and sinews associated with the kidney meridian go directly to the genitals. When it is not functioning correctly, cramping, pain and spasms occur. Energy in this channel, relieves these symptoms.
Levator Ani
Levator ani is a broad, thin muscle on each side of the pelvis. It is the major muscle in the floor of the pelvic cavity. It supports the internal organs of the body and surrounds the various structures which pass through it.
Libido
Sexual desire.
Loins
The part of the body of a human or animal on either side of the backbone and between the ribs and hips.
Nocturia
A frequent need to get up and go to the bathroom to urinate at night. Nocturia is a common cause of sleep loss, especially among older adults. Most people without nocturia can sleep for 6 to 8 hours without having to urinate. Patients with severe nocturia may get up five or six times during the night to go to the bathroom. Diabetes, pregnancy and diuretic medications are also associated with nocturia as is sleep apnea. It is a common symptom of prostatitis and BPH.
Perineum
The region between the scrotum and the anus in males, and between the back of the vulva and the anus in females
Prostate Gland
A gland in males surrounding the urethra at the base of the bladder. It secretes a fluid which is a major constituent of semen.
Prostate massage
Prostate massage and prostate milking are terms used to describe the massage or stimulation of the prostate gland in males, either for medical or sexual purposes. The prostate is stimulated via the anus with a finger or other stimulator with the purpose of relieving the buildup of seminal fluids in the prostate, without a necessary orgasm or ejaculation.

Inflammation of the prostate gland.
Pubococcygeus Muscle
A muscle that stretches from the pubic bone to the tail bone (coccyx) forming part of the floor of the pelvic cavity and supporting the pelvic organs.

Spleen Meridian
The Spleen Meridian runs from the big toe up the inside each leg. The sinews and muscles associated with it, go through the groin and into the genitals and up to the belly button. When this system is not functioning properly, there can be pain and tension along the inner leg, especially the inner thigh, genitals and lower abdomen behind the belly button. When it is properly energized the tensions and pain are resolved.
Testes
The pair of glands at the base of the penis in males, enclosed in the scrotum. They primarily produce sperm and the male hormone, testosterone.
