Q| Will the Prostaderm patch work if I do not have a prostate?
A| For ED, the herbs in the patch travel through the meridian channels to the urogenital area. This introduces energy (chi or qi) into the area. The energy flows through the urogenital organs and unblocks stagnant energy. When energy is flowing free, the urogenital organs can work normal. The prostate is only one part of the urogenital system. It is not required to maintain an erection.

Q| When will I start to feel the effects?

Q| Why wear the patch on the belly button and not the arm?
A| The conception vessel (acupuncture meridian) is where the belly button is. On the arm, there are other meridian channels, however, these meridian channels do not travel to the prostate or urogenital area.

Q| How does this work - what does it actually do to the body?
A| The musk opens the meridian channels. The herbs are then introduced into the channels to unblock stagnant energy (chi or qi). When the energy is unblocked and flows freely, the urogenital organs are able to function normally.

Q| Do I wear it while I bathe or shower?
A| You should not get the patch wet. Remove the patch before you shower. Afgter you towel dry, replace the same patch with the tape (if the original tape looses its adhesiveness, replace a new enclosed tape).

Q| Can females use the patch?
A| Females of child bearing age or pre-menopausal must not use the patch. It is not recommended for usage in women however, post menopausal women may use the patch if they have difficulty in urinating.

Q| Are there any contraindications (medications) while wearing the patch?
A| Some of the herbs may increase blood pressure slightly. If you have high blood pressure or taking anti-hypertensive medications, it is not recommended that you use the patch. Please consult your health care professional before using the patch.

Q| Can I use the patch if I have cancer?
A| Prostaderm patch is not used for cancer. It may help in the relief of nocturia (going to the bathroom many times in the night) by emptying the urinary bladder more completely prior to sleeping.

Q| What happens if I get a rash?
